Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing sales financial expense lines for all divisions in Shiseido Americas. Communication between Executive leadership, field sales, marketing, planning and finance departments as it relates to opportunities and risk of key expenses lines.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take the lead in building and maintaining respectful, productive, cross-functional relationships, reinforcing Sales Administrations’ role of operational and analytical effectiveness.
  • Oversee key expense lines including Demo, Freelance and COOP Advertising totaling $46M.
  • Design, build, deploy and maintain Demo, Freelance and COOP advertising excel framework files to accurately allocate, track, monitor and broadly communicate spend to budget risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct monthly CEP reviews with leadership teams in outlying potential opportunities and risks that will impact net and profit for SAC. Deliver and communicate to Financial Brand leads for P&L management.
  • Work with Sell In VP/DIR/KAEs to manage COOP expenditures. Ensure all side by sides are updated and accurate for budget planning. Develop ROI process to drive future investments that deliver strongest return. Present recommendations to leadership for approval.
  • Partner with Field VP/EDs on budget planning for Freelance to ensure teams are delivering on ROI.  Present plans to Leadership for approval.
  • Deep dive into contractual brand HERMÈS. Quarterly presentations to HERMÈS executive team for alignment and approval.
  • Military evaluation of staffing efficiency and salary/commission payments.  
  • Own field mapping software for call cycle planning. Present recommendations. Participate in confidential organizational plans for input and guidance.
  • Own field mapping software for marketing market/region sales penetration and opportunity analysis.
  • Mentor and develop 1direct report, setting them for personal and professional growth and success.

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Keep VP, Sales Administration apprised of any respective cross-functional objectives, guidelines and asks.
  • Leverage advanced data migration and analysis skills to support cross-functional teams with creation of and improvements to existing excel files, driving efficiency and accuracy.
  • FY2023 IT Initiative, Demo Staffing Mgmt System
  • Support integrity of door management, brand distribution in UDW and SAP
  • Support Education & Events with activity racking, results reporting, and ROI assessment excel framework file.
  • Regional Commercial Sales Meeting attendance as needed and quarterly store visits.
  • Special projects as needed for senior management.

 

KEY REPORTING OUTPUTS:

  • Oversee Monthly CEP, Demo, Freelance, COOP, all SAC brands.
  • Oversee Weekly freelance spend to budget and ROI recaps, all SAC brands.
  • Oversee Monthly / Quarterly HERMÉS meeting documents (Demo / Freelance / COOP)
  • Field sales Territory maps and door assignments
  • Seasonal by-door freelance budgets by brand, account, door

 

OUT OF SCOPE WORK:

  • Finance freelance ROI reporting deep dive (day/hour)
  • Heavily relied on to leverage advanced data migration and analysis skills to support cross-functional teams with creation of and improvements to existing processes, framework and excel files.
