Job Summary:

Analyst of Sales Reporting leads gross and retail sales reporting for the Dr. Dennis Gross brand. As a member of the Business Operations & Analytics team this position delivers vital sales operational input and coordination of commercial sales analytics to key stakeholders (IT, Planning and Inventory, General Accounting, Marketing, Finance, and Sales).

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Deliver timely and accurate reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. Provide key insights
  • Partner with IT team to drive continuous improvement and incorporation of technologies for future reporting and system enhancements.
  • Provide Finance with all data for monthly retail reporting pack.
  • Work in conjunction with Field Sales on Freelance & T&E reporting
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop retail budget by door for full year and gain alignment with field and SVP of Sales
  • Recommend and execute new reports, quarterly reviews or other analyses to provide enhanced service to sales and brand teams.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Execute ad hoc reporting requests and analyses
  • Manage geographic based data pull requests from brands.
  • Data Management and systematic updates.

KEY REPORTING OUTPUTS:

  • Retail Dashboard
  • Financial Reporting Pack data
  • Territory Report

 

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • College degree & minimum of 2-3 years’ experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, data migration and analytics
  • Preferred BI Platform Experience (ex. Alloy, Business Objects, Tableau, PowerBI, or Cognos Analytics)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work under pressure and with fluctuating deadlines
