COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST
Mission
The resource will be integrated into the Back Office team with the objective of providing cross-functional support to all departments in contractual, compliance, and legal protection activities within an international and dynamic context. The goal is to develop a well-rounded figure who can grow within the corporate compliance function, developing a practical and business-oriented approach.
Main responsibilities
• Corporate support and consultancy: legal support and assistance to various company departments (purchasing, commercial, marketing, HR, credit, etc.), acting as a reliable point of reference to ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate informed decisions. In particular, must ensure the proper compliance with procurement processes.
• Compliance and obligations: collaboration with corporate functions to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, with the preparation of the necessary documentation.
• Contract management: support in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and archiving national and international commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Regulatory monitoring: analysis and interpretation of regulations relevant to the business, with particular attention to regulatory developments at the national and European levels.
• GDPR management: continuous monitoring and updating in the field of personal data protection. Operational support for activities related to privacy governance (Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), maintenance and updating of records of processing activities (RoPA); management of the One Trust platform; etc.). Support in privacy audit processes and implementation of follow-up activities. Support in drafting privacy notices and managing data subject requests.
• Collaboration with external consultants for specialized legal insights.
Skills and required competencies
• Maximum age: 29 years (contract of apprenticeship)
• Degree in Law (consider whether to require a minimum grade)
• Lawyer qualification already obtained
• At least 2 years of experience in a company or law firm, with a focus on commercial contract law and civil/commercial law.
• Good knowledge of the Office package
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (required for EMEA contacts)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
