GROUP PRODUCT MANAGER US BRANDS

 

MISSION

 

The Group Product Manager US Brands is responsible for developing and implementing the operational marketing strategy for two strategic prestige brands within Shiseido Italy: NARS and Drunk Elephant.
The role reports directly to the Brand Manager NARS & Drunk Elephant.

This position oversees go‑to‑market excellence, 360° launches, A&P management, forecast and POSM planning, business performance analysis, and cross-functional coordination. The GPM will play a key role in supporting brand growth, ensuring best-in-class execution and full alignment with international guidelines, requiring a balance of strategic thinking, project management and practical execution.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Brand Strategy & Product Operational Management:
    • Develop and communicate a clear local brand and product strategy in alignment with the annual marketing plan and global/EMEA guidelines.
    • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, consumer insights, competitive dynamics and growth opportunities for both brands.
    • Support and monitor the A&P mix, prepare inputs for budget reviews, and propose optimization actions to support business objectives.
    • Ensure consistency of assortment, pricing, and brand positioning within the local market.

 

  1. 360° Go-to-Market & Launch Excellence
    • Collaborate with and coordinate all Marketing functions (including Trade, Media & PR, Digital, Merchandising and Education), Sales and Supply to implement product launch and consolidation
    • Ensure cohesive and efficient execution across channels, developing and implementing all necessary actions to meet business targets, while aligning with retailer strategies.
    • Provide structured pre- and post-launch analysis based on KPIs, qualitative feedback, and retailer-specific performance.
    • Guarantee full compliance with international brand guidelines and local commercial needs.

 

  1. Forecast & POSM Management
    • Oversee forecasting for launches, animations and core business, in collaboration with commercial team, ensuring accuracy and cross-functional alignment.
    • Manage POSM planning, forecasting and allocation, ensuring correct volumes, deadlines, and budget adherence.
    • Monitor tester and promo stock levels, minimizing risks of obsolescence and excess.
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize availability and limit stock-outs or overstock situations.

 

  1. Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze sell-in, sell-out, market share, stock levels, distribution KPIs and competitive trends.
    • Identify performance drivers, risks and opportunities, proposing corrective actions to maximize growth and profitability.
    • Prepare performance presentations for sales force meetings, budget reviews, business updates & reports, and meetings with international teams.
    • Manage operational inputs for budget files, A&P tracking, forecasts, P&L-related documents, and all required reporting.

 

  1. Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Act as point of contact for NARS & Drunk Elephant EMEA marketing teams.
    • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely alignment, feedback consolidation, and follow-up on key operational topics.
    • Organize marketing presentations and prepare materials, launch decks and documents for sales force meetings
    • Collaborate closely with Sales teams to build retailer marketing plans, cluster strategies, and local activations.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field.
    • Proven experience in Product Management, Brand Management, or Marketing, preferably within Beauty, Luxury, or FMCG.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret complex data (sell-in, sell-out, ROI). 
    • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong PowerPoint skills. 
    • Advanced English (mandatory for EMEA/Global interactions).
    • Strategic thinking and planning; strong project and time management skills.
    • Autonomy, precision, entrepreneurial attitude, and collaborative working style. 
    • Digital and social media awareness; understanding of omnichannel business drivers.
