Job Summary:  

The Marketing Intelligence Manager will be responsible for providing the management and internal teams insights that will inform decision making and strategy setting. They relate, but are not exclusive, to our brands’ sales performance, markets, competitors, distribution, pricing & strategy. 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:  

Obtain, manage and structure data from the company systems, internal and external sources, executing reports or budget presentations that provide insights to the team and management. 

 

More specifically:

 

  • Compile and analyze our sales at the Brand, Line, Product and Reference levels following periodicity and deadlines set by Management 

  • Design or improve Marketing templates and dashboards  

  • Implement Marketing KPIs  

  • Gather input from Internal sources (Sales, Marketing, Education) and External (BCs, Distributors) to contextualize results and inform strategy and decisions 

  • Support strategic business planning and budgeting processes 

  • Prepare budget presentations, gathering internal and external input. The Marketing Intelligence Manager will also be involved in strategic discussions and will help shape and communicate this strategy in the written budget documents  

  • Follow the evolution of our distribution channels, creating or updating a document that details the different types of distribution 

  • Implement competition price surveys to inform the brands positioning and identifying opportunities for price increases 

  • Implement a competitors’ watch to follow-up on their activities 

  • Work in conjunction with our regional offices (New York and Singapore) to capitalize on their initiatives and request their assistance to specific projects 

  • Conduct ad-hoc studies related to the marketing activities 

  • Obtain market research and surveys related to our markets and present analysis and summary to Management and teams 

  • Overall, the Marketing Intelligence Manager will present findings and recommendations to team and management and is a source of Marketing intelligence.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s in business, Finance or related degree 

  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience 

  • Prior experience in cosmetics/ beauty industry and candidates with financial background will have an advantage    

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills 

  • Good sense of marketing and commercial awareness 

  • Oriented to problem solving and has strong interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment  

  • Pro-active, mature, independent and able to prioritize numerous tasks  

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel  

  • Knowledge or experience in Power BI desirable 

  • Good knowledge of database management and development
