JOB SUMMARY

The Sales and Training Executive for Shiseido, Cle de Peau Beaute, and Fragrances, reporting into the Regional Sales Director, is responsible for achieving overall sales plan.  Develop and maintain key corporate and retail business relationships across Department, Specialty, and Open-Sell, to increase sales and overall brand awareness. Adherence to budgetary spend commitments, inclusive of freelance management, as well as overall leadership of the territory KPIs is mandatory.

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • You are responsible for driving sales and executing strategies and initiatives within each retailer to ensure the achievement of sales plan.
  • You will maintain a cohesive monthly schedule that aligns with territory volume, call cycle, top volume door focus, as well as business needs incorporating MAPPP™ methodology into the door governance
  • You will achieve and adhere to budgetary spend commitments: financial responsibility inclusive of travel and expenses and freelance budget management
  • You will build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners resulting in increased understanding of the business and achievement of successful sales results.
  • You will create an open and collaborative environment that influences the sales teams of Department /Specialty Stores, Ulta and Sephora.  Cascades knowledge and best practices within the field organization.
  • You are responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining productive counter and freelance teams as well as Beauty Advisor/Coordinator teams (where applicable)
  • You will monitor and assess weekly SPH/ROI for freelance teams ensuring targets are achieved and pivoting accordingly
  • You will grow and develop incremental event strategies, Department Store and Open-Sell, within territory, to secure continuous engagement with the Retailers
  • You will be accountable for visual merchandising execution in-store and supporting in-stock position, by building collaborative relationships in-market and in-store. You will communicate needs to key internal and external stakeholders
  • You will ensure all locations consistently support our product and marketing campaigns through customer interactions, training, and successful execution of visual direction.
  • You will maintain a professional digital footprint across social media platforms, adhering to company guidelines.
  • You will evaluate retail trends to determine resource movements against sales.
  • You will meet all deadlines for requests including calendars, expenses, and event recaps. Understand retail partner protocols, support, and adhere to their policies.
  • You will participate in regional meetings and conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to address business needs.
  • You will act as Best Brand Partner while representing Shiseido, CPB, and Fragrances in a positive and professional manner through personal example and influence of teams.
  • You will work cross functionally with the Education team to grow store personnel with confidence of the brand and their ability to sell the product and build brand awareness.
  • You will maintain a high level of knowledge of all products as well as ingredients.
  • You will deliver information in front of large groups for educational and sales purposes both in store, virtually as well as an large regional formats.
  • You will uphold Shiseido Brand Dress Code Guidelines & consistently demonstrate a polished and professional appearance, frequently changing makeup styles to reflect current trends by wearing seasonal looks.
  • You can work a flexible schedule (typical work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday), including weekends and holidays, to meet team objectives.
  • You can drive a car, which is necessary to perform visits to all doors in the call cycle of the defined territory (Valid Driver’s License Required)

 

 

 

WHO YOU ARE 

  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ Cosmetic Account Executive or 5 years’ Account Coordinator experience. (Or equivalent position)
  • You have demonstrated ability to drive sales through fostering relationships and providing exceptional customer service
  • You can work collaboratively and build positive/effective business partnerships
  • You can interact with all levels of management in a fast paced, high growth, changing environment
  • You can work independently to prioritize and achieve results
  • You must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You have effective planning, organizational and time management skills
  • You have proficient Microsoft Office Skills
  • You can lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • You can stand for up to 8 hours
  • You can travel up to 75%
  • You must have Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation (where applicable)
  • You can work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
