MISSION

 

Shiseido and Clé de Peau Beauté  have two opportunities for an ambitious Marketing Coordinator to join the team. One Marketing Coordinator will work on Shiseido brand and the other Clé de Peau Beauté brand. As Marketing Coordinator, you will use your commercial and creative talent to help the development of the brand and implement the marketing strategy and product launch calendar within the retail distribution.

Skincare is a key priority for expansion, with Shiseido having huge growth potential in UK&I, and also the spectacular launch of Clé de Peau Beauté in Harrods and H-Beauty.  Drunk Elephant joined our portfolio at the beginning of 2021 bringing its unique tone of voice together with its amazing formulations.

We are also growing fast in Fragrance with brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez and Serge Lutens.

Our clients include high-street retailers such as department stores, drugstores & chains as well as online pure players and specialty stores. We also have 5 boutiques and 2 direct e-commerce websites.

ORGANISATION

 

  • Reports to: Brand Manager
  • Job Location: London
  • Contract type: Permanent

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Trade Marketing

  • Work closely with Brand Manager [AS2] to execute the brand [AS3] 360 marketing plans in the UK
  • Work closely with all other marketing functions to ensure all activities are aligned and multichannel
  • Work with the Sales teams to support and implement the retailers’ marketing plan
  • Responsible for the planned allocation and timely delivery of POSM to support our distribution of retail doors[AS4] 
  • Support Brand Manager with Sampling & GWP planning and implementation, and being the owner of the tracker
  • Support new store launches and local marketing plans inclusive of assets management, stock management and eventing
  • Work with Brand Manager to coordinate GWP: photo-shooting, kit builds, label production and POS
  • Support VM planning and calendar aligned with product launches
  • Co-ordinate the design and delivery of all marketing material to support product launches, events, beauty rooms and customer activity: posters, leaflets, handout cards, direct mailers
  • Organise and execute customer events to recruit new and drive loyalty whilst enhancing our luxury brand image.
  • Identify partners and organisations for outreach and sampling programmes to widen our audience reach and recruit new customers to the brand.
  • Copywrite & proof on-counter tools, collateral, brand website and retailer websites to ensure locally relevant and audience-specific language is used.

 

Activity Management and Administration

  • Liaising with Shiseido EMEA to request images and information to be delivered on time
  • Negotiating the quotation for the design together with Group Brand Building Centre and print of all marketing collateral
  • Managing stock levels of products for marketing use
  • Co-ordinating with Operations and courier companies to raise orders and send products, diligently keeping up to date with order status to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Managing Purchase Orders and liaising with the Finance team to process payment of invoices
  • Monthly analysis of competitor and market trends through reporting/data tools like NPD as well as regular store visits to capture launch animations, events and VM executions.
  • Supporting Brand Manager and Marketing Director [AS5] with ad hoc projects

  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • A strong interest in the beauty industry
