Performance Media and Insights Intern

 

 

MISSION

 

To support the Performance Manager and the Head of Insights on the day-to-day running of paid media activity, including Paid Search (Google, YouTube), Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and Affiliates. Working end-to-end with various external media agencies to ensure channels are reflective of trade plans, and campaigns are briefed and executed on time and running smoothly, providing optimisations where necessary. Also owning reporting for the digital team and wider business using a variety of tools (Google Analytics, Dentsu, Circana) on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis.

Reports to: Performance Manager and the Head of Insights

Job Location: Shiseido Group London Head Office

Contract type: 12 month FTC

Start date: 6th July 2026

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

REPORTING

  • Conduct weekly reporting using Google Analytics/GA 4 and update relevant files for trade meetings
  • Conduct monthly reports using GA & SFCC data to provide the digital team with a view of where we are YTD and vs Target, providing commentary to support channel owners in key areas.
  • Conduct post-activity reporting and communicate with the digital team for insights and to inform future campaigns 
  • Become the expert of tools (Circana, Google Analytics) among the organization, present analysis during the customer forum and highlight opportunities across the commercial team.

 

 

AGENCIES

  • Ensuring the agency documents are up to date and reflective of the DTC calendar – promotions, product launches: URLs, promotional codes, creative, copy etc.
  • Working with relevant teams (CRM, E-Merch) to support on creation and execution of media activity
  • Responsive to stock/ launch changes updates and communicating these out
  • Perform routine checks across accounts (Google Ads, Google Merchant Centre, Facebook Dashboard) and provide optimisations for improvement
  • Reviewing and approving paid social campaigns on time before live dates

 

MEDIA

  • Writing ad copy for promotions across performance channels
  • Supporting in the execution of paid social briefing
  • Briefing in creative requests to local and global designers to support paid media campaigns
  • Monitoring performance and optimizing accordingly

 

COMPETITORS

  • Conduct analysis of competitors offers across paid media 
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry and media trends

  • Proficient using Office, especially Excel, comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets, Pivot table and creating tables and graphs
