Omnichannel Activation Manager
MISSION
The OmniChannel Activation Manager will be responsible for owning and driving the omnichannel retail strategy for key strategic retailers. This role will involve making strategic decisions on media inventory placements across various channels and measuring the ROI and incremental sales uplift. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of account manager, omnichannel execution, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving successful retail media campaigns.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Planning: Deveop and implement the omnichannel retail strategy in alignment with business objectives and key retailer partnerships for relevant division. Liaise with brands on retailer and market needs based on brand objectives (rankings in subcategories) and then project manage the requirement gaps of commercial team to produce and deliver tailored retailer strategies; assets, target demographics, vehicle mechanics, and KCP strategies.
- Media Inventory Management: Make strategic decisions on media inventory placements across various channels, including in-store, online, and third-party platforms aligning these to Retailer capabilities and digital trends tapping into partnership road map goals
- Campaign Execution: Execute, flawless best in class execution adapted to each Retailers context. Plan, execute, and optimize retail campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth aligning with Commercial and Brand Strategy both digitally and instore driving a 360 experience along the customer path to purchase. This may include any briefing of assets for retailer and retail media briefing
- Performance Measurement: Measure and analyze strategic audiences, ROI and incremental sales uplift of retail campaigns on a monthly basis. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve performance for YTG plans to ensure that we always win the 4 week battle.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, digital and communications teams, to ensure alignment and integration of omnichannel strategies.
- Retailer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to maximize media opportunities instore and online to drive collaborative initiatives. Be seen as the GO TO partner of choice especially with key online and digital contacts building relationships at retailer level.
- Budget Management: Manage with the NAC the retail trade budget for assigned brand, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment for all future activities
- Reporting: Provide regular monthly reports and insights to Senior Leads on the performance of retail campaigns and their impact on business objective to facilitate future best investment choices
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Experience within National Account management and/or retail media, omnichannel marketing, or a related role within the beauty or FMCG industry.
- Experience managing Digital / E-Retail relationships and in a commercial market or digitally focused role or within an e-retailer is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders both externally and internally across regional and local teams to achieve cohesion
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised
- Proactive, pragmatic and analytical mindset
- Positive, collaborative, can-do attitude, a team player but able to work autonomously
- Experience leading digital upskilling and training desirable
- Aware of digital and e-retail trends, retail media experience desirable
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
- Proven track record of managing successful retail omnichannel campaigns and driving measurable results.
- Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of omnichannel marketing principles and practices.
