Omnichannel Activation Intern

MISSION

 

To support the Senior Omnichannel Activation Manager on executing against the omnichannel retail strategy and support on all activation elements with strategic retailers in the UKI. This newly created role will involve campaign briefing, tracking and capturing all omnichannel campaigns across the retailer estate. This role requires close collaboration with Commercial, Marketing, Digital.

 

 

ORGANISATION

 

Reports to: Senior Omnichannel Activation Manager 

Job Location: Shiseido Group London Head Office

Contract type: 1 Year Contract (starting July 7th 2025)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Activation Coordination

  • Own the campaign execution at go-live and monitor coverage via gantt chart (Airtable)
  • Attend weekly calls internal/external and support note taking and sharing status updates
  • Complete retailer briefings forms on time and in full working with the Manager for guidance
  • Create go-to marketing omnichannel launch guides and best practice – includes retail media, trade instore and online, retailer packages, KCPs etc
  • Communicate and liaise with marketing team on campaign asset needs in line with specs (retailer campaigns only)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, digital and communications to ensure alignment of activation linked to wider team goals

 

Retailer Partnerships

  • Support on all retailer executions for relevant brand and being efficient with retailer requests
  • Deliver best in class UX / prompt asset updates and support on troubleshooting
  • Support the team with 360 omnichannel campaign briefs, assets, and tracking for all campaigns
  • Explore new marketing opportunities instore and attend regular in store walk through to connect online and instore campaigns
  • Support on all reporting gathering insights and being a part of the Activation team meeting cadence

 

Audits and Maintenance

  • Monitor retailer partner activity for the UK to ensure they are aligned and representing relevant brands in accordance with guidelines with daily checks
  • Check all launches are executed correctly after the OCD, tracking suboptimal executions and requesting changes promptly
  • Perform routine audits on retailer.coms to identify issues and correct them, prioritising based on campaign needs
  • Manage and execute all ad-hoc retailer requests with regards to campaign management

 

Tracking

  • Capture all organic and paid-for coverage online, social, email, in store for large scale launches
  • Keep track of key competitor activity and launch activations and present back where possible
  • Support the Sr Manager on the following meetings: weekly trade and quarterly reviews preparing a list of status of activations being ready to confidently communicate status

 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

  • Superb organisational skills with a passion for detail and precision
  • Able to manage time effectively and prioritise accordingly
  • Excellent written English, with a keen eye for grammar, syntax, spelling, and style
  • Able to collaborate well with colleagues and internal teams
  • Strong awareness of omnichannel brand representation and messaging
  • Strong team player
  • Passion for all things beauty, online and instore
  • Passion and familiarity with UK online retailers
  • Positive attitude and works well under pressure
  • Previous e-retail / digital experience a plus

Desirable

  • Experience within the beauty industry in a retailer marketing capacity
  • Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Photoshop
  • Copywriting and proficiency with SEO
  • A relevant business degree / diploma
  • Previous experience working with brand marketing optimisation
