MISSION

 

The Group Business Analyst will support the Group Commercial Manager and will be dedicated to one of the two newly created Divisions in driving the strategic growth plans.

With our objective of harmonizing data, the Business Analyst is responsible for driving key sell-in/sell-out and business data analysis across all retail channels, contributing to make more informed decisions in an truly omnichannel landscape.

Being part of a the centralised team led by the Group Commercial Manager, the Business Analyst will be responsible for leveraging our market & consumer data acquisition through partnership with key retailers as well as promoting harmonized processes & reporting tools.

Job Location: Shiseido Group London Head Office

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting the Group Commercial Manager and dedicated division National Account Managers (NAM) teams with data analysis, harmonizing tools across the business to ensure simplification and faster decisions
  • Collate and review weekly division’s sell out data including group, store and new launch level sharing an overview of performance with the division’s Commercial Director facilitating business reviews with NAMs
  • Review  brand assortment and retailers’ catalogue bi-annually notifying retailers of discontinuations, run ad-hoc stock on hand, pricing, sales by SKUs, comparative analysis, to help make always smarter decisions
  • As part of our ambition to become a consumer-driven organisation, analyse market and key clients’ databases/cubes  of consumers data, streamlining key learnings and take-outs for marketing, digital & commercial teams to make informed activations
  • Responsible for making the S&OP (Sales&Operations) process leaner and more structured with the objective of optimizing sales and reduce out of stock or inventory at the warehouse in cooperation with the Demand Planning team
  • Establish good working relationships with key internal & external stakeholders and further develop partnerships

 

REPORTING & ANALYSIS

  • Provide Division’s Sales & Store reporting and analysis on a weekly basis
  • Provide data and analytical support for presentations and business reviews
  • Creates ad-hoc measures and reports as required /requested to support analysis
  • Help derive key strategic insights from the myriad data types that are available
  • Assist in the identification and development of business opportunities through analysis and interpretation of consumer, customer and market data
  • Sales forecasting to facilitate accurate production planning
  • Monitor and maintain customer specific database utilizing Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Access
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional efforts in the market, developing a ROI culture
  • Become a data owner ensuring end-to-end accuracy on key deliverables
  • Track retail sales for Division ensuring all retailer figures are aligned with internal reporting.

 

 

PROFILE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Previous experience in a sales/business analysis role
  • Excellent excel skills and ability to imagine the right analysis & models to support the business
  • Good at communicating internally and externally and leverage the support needed
  • Structured, articulated
  • A good understanding of the retail / FMCG industries with a strong sense of consumer
  • Ability to communicate well with multi-faceted departments and aid in creating a happy equilibrium
