The Ecommerce Manager will deliver the ecommerce trading sales plan for NARS, Shiseido, and Drunk Elephant ensuring that both content and e-merchandising are effectively managed to deliver retail sales, and to further support the digital expansion of the brand.

  • Oversee the brand’s online sales plan and develop a high performing user experience and customer journey
  • Scale direct to consumer online sales through regular forecasting at gross and retail level to ensure business targets are met
  • Lead DTC strategy in line with the Digital Division, championing unique selling points for the E-Boutiques in the wider Shiseido Group distribution strategy and ensuring synergies between the brand’s own digital activities and those of the retailers
  • Manage the day to day trade of all DTCs ensuring effective product forecasting for all new launches, samples & GWPs
  • Develop customer understanding through data, contributing to the overall analysis of the consumer path to purchase
  • Work closely with marketing to define the consumer experience and e-merchandising ensuring the brand presence and journey online is consistent with overall brand standards and strategy
  • Ensure onsite services, diagnostic tools and site upgrades are managed in collaboration with the EMEA eCommerce team
  • Activate the right business drivers by tracking and drawing conclusions from specific e-commerce KPIs (unique visitors, conversion rate, average order value, profit optimization)
  • Provide weekly site KPIs and analysis of site performance to all relevant business stakeholders
  • Lead, manage and develop the two eCommerce merchandisers and an intern in your team
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that the DTC eCommerce site becomes the brand’s ‘digital flagship’, share and leverage best practices locally and across geographies



  • Experience at management level minimum 2+ years
  • Experience in managing at least two people directly
  • Experience in eCommerce sales planning and site management
  • Experience managing agencies and budgets
  • Ability to coordinate multiple digital marketing channels to drive qualified site traffic
  • Demonstrable experience at improving CVR and AOV eCommerce metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across global, regional and local teams in order to achieve cohesion
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised
  • Passionate about DTC eCommerce customer experience
  • Proactive, pragmatic and analytical mindset
  • Positive, collaborative, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
