Assistant Supply Chain Manager

MAIN PURPOSE

• Execute supply chain operational direction and strategy in accordance with business (local, Regional/HQ) strategy.
• Managing overall order management (Supply replenishment), management distribution logistics provider, import process, freight forwarders. This position is also responsible for the operation planning process, cost management and reduction. 
• Continually exceed goals by delivering high-quality and cost-effective solutions to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Order Management :

• Produce robust business replenishment supply plans to support sales forecast which satisfy customer service objectives with a timely, effective and efficient distribution plan.
• Build high-quality relationships with Sales, customer service and warehouse to fully understand the whole order management process allowing an improvement in customer service and end-to-end inventory optimization.
• Ensure accurate, timely processing of invoicing of the distributors (direct purchase sales)

Demand Planning :

• Work closely with Demand Planning Supervisor to support demand planning in all activities

Import Process :

• Works closely with Import Staff to ensure goods are imported (check PIB, prepare all import documents, follow-up status goods in customs). 

Distribution & Warehouse Management :

• Manage day-to-day operation with 3PL / logistic provider to ensure that distribution services are provided to support the business.
• Compares invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered.
• Drive monthly operational & KPI reviews to drive continuous improvement and manage warehouse and distribution costing.
• Liaise with 3PL with regards to annual stock take, cycle count and disposal of write-off stocks.

Others :

• Proper communication regarding significant current/potential supply performance problems is communicated to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner for mitigation consensus.
• Continually identifies cost reduction opportunities and realistic time-bound actionable initiative and Implement best practice as part of continuous improvement.
• Support the ongoing process to identify strengths and weaknesses of the current workflows and processes and continually loos for opportunities to streamline and improve on an operational level to enhance the customer service level.
• Ensure all SCM operations are processed through POS system, maintain database up to date
• Creates, maintains and deletes master data in local ERP (POS) and SAP system as needed.
• Prepares and submits operational and review reports as directed.
• Validates vendors’ bills and ensures that the costs are booked correctly

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Management, Statistic, Technic Industry
• Minimum experience 5 years of relevant operational working experience in demand planning.
• Background in cosmetics, consumer goods environment is added value.
• Functional knowledge of Demand/Supply Planner and Warehouse Management

Skill Sets

• Excellent English skills oral and written
• Expert in operating computer worksheets (excel, Microsoft word, powerpoint)
• Sound knowledge of SAP and ERP system (eg. POS) is an advantage
