Finance Manager – Benelux
Mission
Reporting directly into the Benelux Finance Director, the Finance Manager will ensure the accurate and efficient management and financial accounting, reporting and controls of the Shiseido Group Benelux operations. The Finance Manager will work with the Benelux Finance Director to develop appropriate financial and business controls in line with Shiseido EMEA and Japan HQ requirements. The Finance Manager will play a key role in budgets process, month end close and will be expected to actively seek opportunities to standardize and streamline existing processes as well as taking a leading role in managing external and internal audits.

Shiseido Benelux office is located in Brussels, Avenue Louise. From there we manage the following brands for three markets (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg) : Shiseido, Narciso Rodriguez, NARS, Drunk Elephant, Clé de Peau Beauté, Issey Miyake, Serge Lutens, Zadig & Voltaire (and others are coming!). Our main clients are Douglas, Ici Paris XL, De Bijenkorf, Skins Cosmetics, April, Galeria Inno, etc.
Organisation
• Reports to Benelux Finance Director.
• Job location : Brussels Office (two days per week home office possible).
• Contract type : Permanent.
Main responsibilities
• Prepare Affiliate budgets P&Ls in collaboration with Finance Director & General Manager. Follow up & monitor budgets P&Ls in line with Affiliate objectives.
• Set up the month end close and rolling forecast.
• Prepare & ensure yearly financial closing in collaboration with Accounting Department.
• Oversee and improve all financial aspects and implement strong systems, processes, and controls
to support Commercial Department.
• Manage the end-to-end process of internal group reporting.
• Be the main point of contact with external auditors whereby strong technical knowledge on IFRS
and Belgium GAAP will be required.
• Coach and motivate the team to drive an integrated performance culture across the Finance team.
• Be the main point of contact of EMEA RHQ Finance team.
Skills & Competencies
• Academic/Master degree.
• 5 to 8 years in Finance & team Management experience.
• Proven experience of managing the financial and accounting implications of a business unit.
• High level of interpersonal skills and potential for people development and leadership skills.
• High level of organizational skills and ability to keep track of all current relevant priorities.
• High level of analytical skills with an ability to interpret and develop immediate action plans.
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management abilities, both internally and externally.
• Strong system skills.
• Fluent in French, English. Dutch is a plus.
