The Role

As the team leader of the Talent Management Team, he/she supports Director, Human Resources and Regional Director, Talent Management in launching leading-edge practices and solutions around learning and talent management, which includes succession planning, performance management and career development for Shiseido Hong Kong (SHK) employees. The job holder actively reinforces the corporate learning culture and upgrades employees’ capability to support continuous business growth and talent strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with SHK management, Division Heads and business partners on identifying training needs for corporate staff and initiating appropriate training solutions in aligning with company objectives & division strategies
  • Design and launch competency-based learning & development programs to all levels of staff through different learning platforms with the collaboration of internal and external key stakeholders
  • Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of different learning solutions and ensure staff are well equipped with skills and knowledge to support continuous business growth
  • Support the Director, Human Resources and Regional Director, Talent Management in launching corporate talent development programs, succession planning, performance management and other culture-building projects
  • Preparing the annual learning budget with the direction from the Director, Human Resources and monitoring the learning expenses
  • Facilitate and coordinate internal communication sessions i.e. Monthly Assembly with All Office Staff
  • Communicate with Headquarter and Regional Headquarter regularly on launching global/regional initiatives in Shiseido HK
  • Keep abreast of the latest and best market practices to come up with innovative and high-impact solutions to motivate employees’ learning

 

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Human Resources or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of solid training experience in the retail industry, preferably with experience in setting up a learning academy & E-learning/Mobile learning platform
  • Proven facilitation skills with experience in designing and delivering supervisory / leadership programs
  • Ability to design creative & interactive programs in a variety of areas
  • Strong leadership skills to coach and develop team members
  • Good communication skills in collaborating with different stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and have customer-oriented mindset
  • A multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.  Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to cope with changes
  • Strong influencing skills with a track record in building relationships
  • Organized & attention to detail with strong execution & problem-solving skills
  • Certifications in facilitating globally recognized management/ leadership programs i.e. Design Thinking
  • Passionate in retail/beauty industry
  • Proficient in MS Office, web application and Chinese Word Processing
  • Fluency in verbal and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
