Manager - Education, NARS and Drunk Elephant
The role
The Education Manager is dedicated to cultivating customer-centric approach and shaping education strategy through artistry to drive business growth. He/she is responsible for establishing and deploying a comprehensive education strategy, driving excellence in brand artistry experience and service standards. Leveraging deep business insights, assessing training needs, designing and delivering engaging programs to enhance the Makeup Artist workforce, and leading compelling digital training content creation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, adapt, and implement training programs and materials to equip Makeup Artists with the knowledge and skills to achieve company sales and service objectives
- Devise tailored training strategies to develop the Makeup Artist team and advance their artistry skills
- Develop engaging digital training content and facilitate digitalization of education practices
- Manage and direct programs focused on sales, service, and artistry, including Artist Certification and Career Development
- Responsible for improving in-store productivity by developing and delivering high-touch luxury artistry experiences
- Work closely with the Global Education team to ensure seamless implementation and execution of programs
- Create artistry-driven events and activities to build brand awareness, customer acquisition, and loyalty
- Enhance Makeup Artists' skills in makeup application, communication, sales performance, productivity, and quality of work
Job requirements:
- University degree with minimum 8 years of relevant training and development experience in the makeup or beauty industry
- Strong artistry skills and experience in program development/instructional design
- Solid experience in both classroom training and field coaching
- In depth knowledge of latest beauty trends and products
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with storytelling skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and creative solution-finding
- Innovative mindset and change agent mentality
- Passionate about makeup artistry and customer relationship development
- Driven to elevate the Makeup Artist workforce and foster achievement, learning and teamwork.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
