The incumbent will lead a team of HR professionals and collaborate with senior leaders to align HR initiatives with the organization's overall business objectives. The role will be responsible for driving organizational development, innovative HR practices and programs, enhancing employee engagement and development, and ensuring the company's talent management strategies are aligned with its long-term goals. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices and trends.

 

Job Duties:

  • Organizational development and change management: Partner with senior leaders to identify and address organizational development needs and change management initiatives. Develop and implement organizational development strategies, including culture transformation, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Develop and execute HR strategy: Collaborate with the senior leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company's mid to long-term business goals. Ensure HR initiatives support the organization's growth, succession planning, and talent management strategies to build the leadership pipeline, retention, and culture development.
  • Employee learning and development: Drive employee development initiatives to foster a learning culture and enhance employee skills and competencies. Collaborate with managers to create career development frameworks, and training opportunities.
  • HR analytics and data-driven insights: Utilize HR analytics and data to provide insights and support strategic decision-making. Develop and implement HR metrics and reporting systems to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Identify trends and proactively recommend data-driven solutions to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.
  • Compensation and benefits management: Review and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives. This includes determining salary structures, pay scales, commissions, incentives and benefits etc., that are competitive within the industry and market trend.
  • Talent acquisition and management: Oversee the company's talent acquisition efforts, working closely with Divisional Heads to identify future talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Implement innovative sourcing techniques and talent assessment to attract the right candidates.
  • Employee engagement and culture: Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive company culture. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive work environment. Lead employee recognition and wellness programs.
  • HR technology and process improvement: Evaluate and implement HR technology solutions to streamline HR processes, enhance data management, and improve overall efficiency. Continuously assess and improve HR systems, policies, and practices to support business objectives.
  • HR compliance and risk management: Stay up to date with relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and mitigate risks. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Team leadership and development: Lead and develop the HR team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team's professional growth. Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to team members. Foster collaboration and cross-functional partnerships within HR and across the organization.
  • Lead and manage office admin function: Lead and manage the administrative operations of the HK office. Ensure the smooth functioning of the office, oversee the administrative staff, and collaborate with various departments to support their needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Director or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of organizational development, talent management, and learning and development principles and practices
  • Demonstrated success in driving cultural transformation, change management, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with organizational objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
