Trade Marketing Manager
Planning (20%)
- Develop and submits annual plan of promotional activities, in-store activities, promotion guideline by brand by channel in cooperation with sales team on the basis of market evaluations and analyses of historical trends.
- Translate Consumer and Shopper insights into Channel strategies & define in-store execution at the channel and key customers.
Develop and review annual sales forecast by brand by line by channel for Annual budget proposal
Sales target (20%)
- Provide timely information to C&F team (daily stock status, daily order delivery status, monthly promotion scheme, etc)
- Propose monthly promotional activities, such as customer incentives, to maximize sales.
- Ensure the implementation of the trade marketing plan, performing relevant checks and recommending corrective actions, in case of deviations and on the basis of market evolutions.
- Cooperate with sales team to track sales performance, highlight if any issues and suggest actions on weekly basis.
Ensuring profits (5%)
- Manage trade spending and sales operations budget. Adjust if needed and find ways to optimize budget to achieve brand’s profits.
New Business Development (10%)
- Identify business opportunities, and pinpoint improvement areas.
- Monitoring and Data analysis: market and competitors analysis to evaluate brand performance, tracking distribution, sales KPIs and suggest improvement programs to maximize all opportunities.
Quality and Productivity (5%)
- Track status of budgets, and forecasts related to forthcoming promotions or projects.
- Continually monitor product/brand performance and liaise with sales department to formulate action plans.
- Check and assess all information concerning markets and customers, to ensure that the company keeps competitive edge over competitors.
- Keep updated of the market, from both supply and demand point of view, through ongoing monitoring of trends and evolutions.
- Work with Nippon to ensure on time order delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
Customers and other external relationships (10%)
- Build good relationships with Nippon and transportation 3rd party to get effective support in delivery.
- Work with retailers’ promotion team on quarterly basis.
- Build network with GT distributors to ensure compliance in promotion and sales data submission.
Environmental and social responsibilities (5%)
- Acts with integrity – honor commitments, take responsibility on decisions, and behave consistently.
- Provide formal compliance training if needed to field force and customers.
Human Resources Development (15%)
- Set individual key performance indicators for direct reports and manage their performance to ensure team is performing on track.
- Work with Division Director and HRBP in people related matters of direct reports (e.g. building development plans for high-performers, staffing, performance management, recognition & rewards.)
Building organizational strength (5%)
- Proactively collaborate with other team members in brand and other departments to achieve common goals.
- Assess brand or cross-functional working process and adjust where necessary to ensure that resources are appropriately utilized.
Others (5%)
- To execute projects or other assignments as requested by the Company or Line Manager
REQUIREMENTS
- University BA graduate.
- 5 years’ experience in FMCG environment.
