We are seeking enthusiastic interns for the Shiseido Summer Internship program, a paid, full-time, 9-week experience from June 2nd to August 1st. This program offers hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, along with impactful projects, networking opportunities, and professional development workshops. About our Transportation Team:

This intern will be working in the transportation department, a department within Supply Chain Operations at Shiseido Americas.   We manage transportation domestic and international for all Shiseido Americas’ brands, (retail, specialty, CM, overseas suppliers).

What You’ll Do:

• Creates, reviews and updates SOP’s and required documentation regarding domestic and international shipping.
• Helps manage processes directly with customers and vendors who are shipping both domestically and internationally.
• Works to ensure Shiseido is taking full advantage of customs programs for which Shiseido may be eligible. Works on projects related to NAFTA, free trade agreements and duty drawbacks.
• Works closely with transportation team members.
• Attends, and participates in, team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor’s degree  
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized 
• Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented 
• Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment 
• Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends 
• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
• Moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity. 
• Ability to climb stairs, lift 40 pounds, and regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch on a concrete floor
