JOB SUMMARY
Engineer II, Process Improvement will support all Distribution and Assembly functions across the ADC by owning the project management, development and implementation of process improvement solutions utilizing analytical tools and statistical technique. This position will be responsible for driving high performance and on-time project completion while maintaining excellent quality, efficiency, and cost.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- You will Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements that drive performance, quality, and cost-savings in distribution, assembly, and WMS/WML systems.
- You will support all functions in providing end-to-end project tracking, monitoring and implementation for all current and new initiatives.
- You will manage multi-projects to completion with limited supervision and support.
- You will use statistical analysis and reporting tools to create and to generate dashboards/reports highlighting key business insights.
- You will maintain maintenance of warehouse locations, including creating Labels using Bartender software and templates used throughout the Warehouse.
- You will act as the system administer for WMS and WML by maintaining WMS and WML roles and access.
- You will update and maintain WLM including logins, schedules, and the Warehouse Location Map.
- You will provide feedback to leadership on strengths and opportunities of warehouse systems.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or equivalent technical experience preferred.
- You have 3-5 years of related experience in a distribution, warehouse, and/or production environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
- You have knowledge of lean manufacturing, TQM, Process Improvement, and other high-performance concepts.
- You are proficient in Power BI, SQL, and Cognos Reporting.
- You have excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written, good listening skills, providing support with trust, respect, and transparency).
- You can develop strong working relationships that foster teamwork and collaboration.
- You have strong organizational and analytical skills.
- You are proficient with project management including taking full ownership of project and partnering with stakeholder to ensure all steps of the timeline are met.
- You can adapt to fast-changing environments.
- You have strong problem skills with the ability to predict, recognize and define meaningful corrective actions to problems.
- You are willing to take risks and to consider new approaches to improve processes.
- You have strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite, WMS, RF, and related distribution center technology.
- You can lift 40 lbs. and regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch on a concrete floor.

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
