Technician, Facilities

The Facilities Technician provides support for both the facility and the grounds through minor mechanical work and by assisting the Facilities supervisor to respond to daily requests. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performing all duties incorporating company safety policies and programs
• Perform minor mechanical work, painting, masonry, carpentry, or plumbing work as necessary
• Perform daily inspections of building and grounds
• Assist with meeting and working with outside contractors
• Transport equipment or materials throughout the building or grounds as required
• Perform data entry for Facilities work orders and preventative maintenance
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Facilities supervisor or manager

Qualifications & Competencies:

• A positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to work well on a team
• Basic mechanical skills
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Proactive to address issues
• Effective communication skills
