Planner, Material Supply

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for planning Raw Materials/Components to support the finished good production plan. 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze component and raw material requirements based on the finished good plan and purchase accordingly  
  • Maintain proper aligned to Inventory and E&O targets        
  • Assure shipment of Purchase Orders to be on time and in full          
  • Validate schedule of purchase order deliveries with finished good planners, S&OP partners and contract manufactures                                      
  • Ensure vendor adherence to the Shiseido KPI’s including but not limited to OTIF, S.S programs, VMI Programs, NPC resolution and communication standards                              
  • Follow up on shipment and delivery of purchase orders with transportation or vendor to assure availability for production 
  • Review expedites, cancelations and deferrals
  • Maintain monthly reporting metrics which included but are not limited to OOR accuracy, E&O reason coding, NCP status updates, MDR coordination and plan attainment

  • Finished Good Planners for production timing
  • S&OP Partners for long term planning and customer requirements
  • Quality Team for NCP resolution and guidance                                                                    
  • Transportation for coordination of shipments
  • OPD for new launches and development of products new or existing                                
  • NPC for all new launch project timelines
  • Component and/or Raw Material Suppliers  

 

Financial Accountability:

  • E&O of components
  • Incremental cost of expediting components
  • Overall inventory targets
  • Vendor OTIF
  • Days of Supply

                           

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • 2-5 years of previous planning experience in Consumer goods preferably in the cosmetics Industry                     
  • Proficient in software supporting planning activities
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to Focus
