Check Point-3rd Shift

Responsible for ordering components and bulk for all scheduled manufacturing orders and ensuring all materials are available on time and in full. Responsible for verifying that the components received match the BOM for every job.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

List the main tasks.

• Must be able to perform all duties in accordance with company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Responsible for the generation of  paperwork for upcoming orders.          
• Responsible for ordering of all scheduled manufacturing orders & verification of all picked components.                                                                                                              
• Communicate with appropriate departments any discrepancies found in the work order or specification.                                                                                                              
• Communication with Production Supervisors, Manager and Planning department any found inventory shortages.                                                                                                  
• Daily review and understanding of the production schedule and priorities.  Ensure manufacturing orders are ordered on time.              
• Communicate with Production to execute any carry-overs (and shortages) in production orders to maintain accurate inventory.                                     
• Assist in the implementation of department initiatives (5S, Kaizen) and process improvement.   
• Interact with relevant departments to communicate production needs and process discrepancies.
• Carry out other duties to be performed as required by Production Management.
