Full time Accountant responsible for all analysis, reconciliation, and accuracy of the financials for both East Windsor Manufacturing and Contract Manufacturing.  This position will follow a hybrid model. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Preparing financial data such as accruals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis as well as preparing supporting reports.
•    Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
•    Reconciling all relevant general ledger accounts with subsidiary ledgers.
•    Assist in monthly and quarterly closing activities to deliver timely and quality reporting requirements.
•    Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
•    Support to identify actions to mitigate any risks for the plant to deliver their yearly performances and costing objectives.
•    Support compliance, internal & external auditors reviews and requirements.
•    Support in the SAP implementation which includes data cleansing and testing. 


Working Relationships/Key Stakeholders:
•    All East Windsor and Contract Manufacturing functional areas including Production Planning, Inventory Control, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Production, New Product Commercialization, and Material Supply.
•    Regional teams including Operations Finance, S&OP, Brand Finance, Procurement, Master Data Management, Transfer Pricing, Tax, Internal Audit. 


Financial Accountability: 
•    Accuracy of Financial reports
•    Accuracy of monthly journal entry postings and reconciliations


Qualifications & Competencies:

•    Undergraduate Degree in Finance or Accounting
•    Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting 
•    Strong knowledge of SAP
•    Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly Excel
•    Working experience, ideally in fast moving consumer goods, cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry
•    Capacity to identify process improvement opportunities. 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills, and critical thinking skills
•    Must be able to multi-task and meet demanding deadlines in fast-faced fast-changing environments.
•    Capable to take ownership of the tasks and think out of the box to improve processes.
•    Organized, timely and attention to details required.
